Seems like e-mailing is currently the main way to remove details. Originally I uninstalled the facebook app but still received emails. Then I emailed and it took a few days for a response, but eventually got decent customer service. Was informed in their email that the data would be deleted.

Totally agree with you. At the first glance BO look nice, interesting, almost a game like job-hunting application.

BUT since the app have continued bombarding messages on name attached to them, I havent opened the service since the start. I didnt want to be their “marketing pony”, after all I havent really understood if BO wa s actually a good service. They lost a one customer plus my contacts.

Thus I am going to stick with LinkedIn instead.

I think Microsoft would argue that they do get some nice revenue from movie tie ins. The issue is always the length of time to market for games v movies.

But hey what would I know :-)
